Introducing the Connection Café, where Magdalin Odoi, the Senior Community Health Outreach Coordinator from Wheeler Clinic, joins forces with Liz Chubet, the Program Coordinator of the Calendar House Senior Center, for a monthly gathering. These meetings will address issues like: Anxiety Fears Loneliness Making friends Exploring new activities Self-care Participants can suggest topics for future discussions. There will also be activities and strategies to help everyone feel their best. The goal? To break down barriers, whether self-imposed or societal. We want to foster connections and help everyone feel supported. With a group atmosphere that says "You're not alone," members can find companionship and navigate social situations more easily.
