Tuesday Trekkers Tuesday, December 3rd McClean Refuge, Simsbury: Meet at the park entrance at 10 a.m. Hiking shoes are recommended! Bring lunch and a drink. Hike/walk on an old forest road to a pond and fishing cabin of Governor McClean who donated the property to the State of Connecticut. The inclement weather date is Wednesday, December 4th, at the same time. Carpooling Arrangements for trips outside of Southington: If you wish to carpool, meet up in the Calendar House parking lot one hour before the walk start time. As a courtesy, we ask that passengers donate $10 to the driver to cover their expenses. A list of walkers and their phone numbers will be emailed to the group the day before the walk in case you want to connect in advance to make driving arrangements.
